Lace. Fringe. Fringe! Silky, floral printy. 5.5″ dirty platforms. The classic black bag. It’s vintage. Thicker leather than the average. Together the items sum up the outfit I wore as we made our way to the pool party. Can you tell, my brain is pooping out randomness? As I received these images, I was torn of what kind of photographs I prefer and couldn’t meet a conclusion. I love black and white. It’s crisp and what you make of the picture, down to the colors, are up to your discretion. I love color. It draws in the eyes and brightens up everything. As a adolescent, I always tried to use as many colors from the crayon box that I could, even white on white. Up ’til this day, I would probably still do the same.

These pictures again were taken by my talented friend, Brian. If you’re ever in or already in the area of LA/Burbank, definitely hit him up!

fun in the sun

It’s as if a emotional raincloud rolls over my head like I’m Eeyore as I revisit pictures to post of my previous weekend; envious for some nice, sunny weather compared to this misty fog of a city summer. I’m a girl who can live off tanks, tees and shorts if the weather would just abide. Mark Twain once quoted, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco”. With that said, I spent a lovely weekend with beloved friends over by the lake. We were so stoked to be boating only to arrive with the water running dry. From the crazy global warming conditions, on top of them sucking out all the lake water to be sold…  Did we end up going to a lake or a puddle? It seems like we (as human beings) are doing too much attempting to act like Mother Nature: moving bodies of water, creating rainclouds, chopping down rainforests… all that. We’re playing too much with fire here. Anyways, just my opinion and something to think about. For everyone else outside of SF that has Mr. Sun’s attention, dance around in a bikini for me while I wrap myself in a snuggie!

PS. It’s already a week into August? Um, semi-freak out moment.
